Finally A Small ION Board with PCI-E! Bliss!!
By Scott Showalter
I bought this after reselling my similar Zotac IONITX D-E (a.k.a. IONITX A-U, only no PSU included), as it simply didn't do it for me as an HTPC. The main issue with the D-E/A-U was that there were no PCI-E slots for a TV card of my choice. That all changed with the F-E, which was released just a few months later. It's got the PCI-E slot that makes all the difference.TV CARD:If you have digital cable, you could technically just use the HDHomeRun (analog cable/NTSC not supported): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0010Y414Q?tag=a52-20&ie=UTF8We, on the other hand, only have analog cable. Therefore, it needed to work with my current TV card, which is an analog/digital hybrid: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E2T6Y4?tag=a52-20&ie=UTF8CASEI use my board with this APEX case, which works quite well: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WCQYU6?tag=a52-20&ie=UTF8MEMORYThe best memory to grab for any of these Zotac boards is Crucial's XMS sticks.Go for the 2GB (2 x 1GB) if you don't intend to ever watch Blu-Ray movies:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CDLCGG?tag=a52-20&ie=UTF8Go for the 4GB (2 x 2GB) if you DO intent to watch Blu-Ray movies:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TPXULC?tag=a52-20&ie=UTF8Hope this helps! :)

Awesome mini ITX
By Kurt E. Powell
I researched for quite awhile before I picked this board. It is currently installed as a Car PC running XP with 2GB memory. Handles everything well. This board is top notch with all the back panel connections you need. If you are looking for a top end mini board as a car pc, HTPC, or desktop replacement (as long as your not doing high end graphics or gaming) this si the one!

Using as Boxee HTPC
By Jose Buzo
This is a good board but my opinion is don't use windows 7 on it. I know a lot of people wouldn't think about using windows 7 on an Atom chip but i really wanted it for the Windows Media Center feature but i quickly found out that windows 7 OS + WMC = 2 resource hogs. Video is laggy and audio does not sync. I removed WMC and disabled all fancy features in Windows 7 and installed Boxee on it which runs good but would run excellent on Linux.About TV Tuner Cards. Maybe its because i'm using windows 7 on an Atom PC but i bought a Hauppauge 1196 which does not have on board encoding. This means all the video encoding is done by the processor and there isn't much processor to spare with Win 7 installed so while watching TV it stutters severely then eventually freezes.I'm giving this board 5 stars because the hardware didn't give me any problems, it performs as expected, and OS/accessory installation was a breeze. Great product Zotac!
