The F2A85-V PRO supports the new AMD® A-series Accelerated Processor with AMD Radeon™ HD 7000 Series Graphics. This revolutionary APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) combines processing power and advanced DirectX 11 graphics in one small, energy-efficient design to enable accelerated performance and an industry-leading visual experience. It features Dual-channel DDR3 memory support and accelerates data transfer rate up to 5GT/s, and also provide Quad-GPU CrossFireX support. Using the new A85X FCH, is it designed to support up to 5 GT/s interface speed and PCI Express 2.0 x 16 graphics, and natively supports 8 SATA 6Gb/s ports and 4 USB 3.0 ports. ASUS is pleased to announce that the F2A85-V PRO features Dual Intelligent Processors 3 with New DIGI+ Power Control, providing a total CPU, memory, and SMART DIGI+ Key profile tuning digital power solution, which includes two digital voltage controllers allowing ultra-precise DRAM tuning in addition to ultra-precise CPU voltage control.

Looks Nice

I bought this board for a well need upgrade from my last Asus build 5-6 yrs ago. I found Asus to be a very reliable board so "if it's not broke don't fix if" Just update it.Well to say the least It was very easy to put everything together,*AMD A10-5800K APU 3.8Ghz Processor*Patriot Memory Viper 3 Series Venom Red DDR3 8GB 2133MHz*Samsung 840 Series Solid State Drive (SSD) 250 GB*Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler*Aztac 620W Power supply*Zalman Z11 Plus Case*Windows 7 Ultimate OSI'm not much of a gamer but I work with alot of programs so i figured this should be enough.....wellAfter getting it all together everything went well until i tried the built-in OC program in the BIOS to give it an added boost.It was going well with the Temps in Bios saying it was only running at 89-95°F Idle. But as soon as I started opening a few windows on Internet and only had the Media Player running, the system starting shutting down and restarting. Come to discover that the temperature in the Bios was way off.(Asus board read wrong temps so be careful not to think you can overclock further because you will burn your processor up) actual temps for CPU was running 55-60°C and without anything else running would put this system in jeopardy. I have tried everything but no matter what, I cannot get this to drop under 52°C at start-up. Changed Fans, New thermal paste and even tried lowing the voltage. I dont know what else to do. and I shouldnt have to go buy a water cooler just to get things to work right..Maybe after I can get things figured out to why its overheating, I will give it a better rating. I havnt gave up on Asus just yet....

I bought this MB, and I have to say I'm very satisfied. I did it as a long term investment to my home desktop. I use Linux and initially I got some trouble with UEFI, but I managed to resolve it and since then, the desktop behaves very good.
