Older model but usable

The only thing about this is that you needed an AGP cardthere is no built in video device.It needed more dimms modules if where going to use sucha low powered memory type.

I can't even say whether or not this is DOA. I usually use Newegg to shop and look for technical details, and then use Amazon to actually buy, but NEITHER of them were the least bit helpful in pointing out that I HAVE THE WRONG PROCESSOR TO GO WITH THIS. Yes, it's buyer beware, I'm sure. Yes, I probably should've paid closer attention to what little detail there was, but, come on...the only indication that this motherboard uses a PRESCOTT type processor is a small, unnoticeable section of the BOX IT COMES IN. I saw, in both places, Celeron D or Pentium 4, socket LGA775 compatibility. I thought, "Cool! I have a Pentium 4, socket 775, less to buy!" ...WRONG. I have a NORTHWOOD type processor (that has the CPU pins on the processor itself). On Prescott compatible motherboards, the CPU pins are on the MOTHERBOARD ITSELF. Not only is my processor too small, and not the same number of pins needed...but it doesn't even have the pins in the right place for this motherboard.On top of that, even if I did, thanks, Computer Geeks. These people shipped my motherboard with BENT CPU PINS. Really?I would return this instead of getting a replacement, but this is (and I'm not joking here, I've looked long and hard) the ONLY motherboard I can use with any of my stuff. Great.
