Board offers two fully independent 16X PCI-E lanes for maximum 2-card SLI performance.There was/is a possible manufacturer BIOS issue/recall associated with this board so you should check your BIOS revision immediately once you receive it and update as necessary. Apparently any BIOS revision below F7 is suspect and using the board with a bad BIOS revision could result in permanent damage to your motherboard. Just received one of these last month with the F3 BIOS revision, so don't just assume you'll receive one with the latest firware. Want more details on the BIOS issue, just do some online searches and you'll find plenty...

I purchased this board earlier today, and I am amazed at the difference a bios revision does. Any board you get from Gigabyte with a bios before F7 is a bust. Now that they have bios F10, everything is running great. I got my 3820 oc'ed to 4.5ghz no problem, and with the intel cooler (yes I bought the intel cooler) im only hitting 76c on load. Not too bad. I really dont have anything to complain about with this board, other than the fact I hate the new 3D bios. Call me old school but I just dont like it. I currently am running a 9500GT in it (what i had laying around). Once I get my 680 i'll post if anything changes, but I doubt it will. This board is pretty solid so far.

It works. 3D BIOS looks awesome. I overclocked my 3820 a little bit. Hopefully it lasts long. And the board comes with a lot of cables that are very helpful like the crossfire connection cables for both N cards and A cards.
