I combined the purchase of this motherboard with the purchase of a AMD A6-3500 APU with AMD Radeon 6530 HD Graphics 2.1/2.4GHz Socket FM1 65W Triple-Core Processor. This combination has worked flawlessly in Windows 7, and renders my h.264 /x264 1080p videos encoded in Handbrake flawlessly. I combined this with a Samsung 830 series SSD and 8GB of Kingston HyperX DDR3 1333 RAM to create an every-day usable desktop PC that can handle media, web usage, simple encoding software, and fairly high-end graphics.A note to Linux users - and I mention the linux compatibility with reservation - is that you have to have a distribution of a more recent kernel that supports the AMD APU platform in order to stay out of "low graphics mode" or "funky non-supported graphics mode" or "[choose your color] screen of death." As of September 2012, I've integrated near seamlessly the Ubuntu 12.1 release with my APU system. It actually booted and gives me full 1920x1080 with no funky issues!For the price - combined with a $65 processor - this combo is hard to beat. The low wattage input means that this processor runs cool compared to my most recent rig - an 8-core Zambezi that required an Antec Kuhler 620 to keep core temps within a reasonable range.The only issue I see so far - and I don't really push these things to the limit - is that the TMPIN 2 in HWMonitor is running nearly 200F. That seems awfully high, and I wonder what component on the mobo that is. I will have to check, because certainly the heat-sinking characteristics on that element of the motherboard are not up to par with what I had on my last rig - a GA-990-FXA-UD3. That was an excellent and extremely fast motherboard!The IO ports are adequate - with both DVI and VGA outputs - note NO HDMI - but you can simply rig up a DVI to HDMI adapter on the back and solve that problem if you want to connect to an HDTV.Overall, as I see it, this board is perfect for my use. I hope it matches up to the quality that I have grown accustomed to from Gigabyte.That said, one thing I noticed is the preponderance of Foxconn parts on the board - in fact I am wondering if this is a rebadged and "Gigabyte-Blued" Foxconn board. If it is I won't be entirely disappointed so long as it lasts.And one FINAL piece of advice if you're using an APU with integrated graphics. MAKE SURE to CONFIGURE THE BIOS to recognize the APU's integrated graphics as the default graphics card, otherwise your computing experience will end after the bios boot screen with the CMOS instructing the board to look for a non-existent PCI graphics card.In short, as of September 2012, eight or nine weeks after purchase it works well, and as a foundation for my speedy budget system it has presented absolutely no hiccups. If they do emerge, I will be sure to update my review.

I just started to build my desktop computer and it seemed that choose this processor was the best option. I have not yet completed the pc so I'll have to update this review.Regarding the time of product delivery, Amazon give this processor and motherboard in a single package, small, very safe and easy, arrived earlier than expected while being free with Super Saver Shipping.Future computer:AMD A8-3870K APU with AMD Radeon 6550 HD Graphics 3.0GHz Unlocked Socket FM1 100W Quad-Core Processor - Retail - AD3870WNGXBOX, and acquired.Gigabyte AMD Socket FM1 Dual Graphic Micro ATX Motherboard GA-A75M-S2V, and acquired.UPDATE 1:Silicon Power 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 Non-ECC 240-Pin SDRAM Dual Channel Desktop Memory Dual Channel Kit SP008GBLTU160V22 and acquired.I found it an excellent choice in ram.Amazon sent the product in a package very light and safe, and as usual, on the estimated date of arrival.awaiting the arrival of:Seagate Barracuda 7200 1 TB 7200RPM SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive ST1000DM003, still in "Shipping Soon"definitely have to buy this hard drive for its low price and excellent performance levels.more updates soon.....looking for more pieces
