I used to buy only the asus, gigabyte, msi, etc "high end" boards. Then I would never use all the advanced features. Decided to get a much more reasonable board for my needs and I have not been disappointed. The bios update tool worked flawlessly (used the windows version as it was recommended). It actually rebooted the computer and upgraded the bios from within it's own environment which is refreshing considering how easily things can go wrong in windows.All the drivers from the CD installed flawlessly and then I went and downloaded the latest versions form Intel's website and those installed flawless too. Windows 7 64bitUsing a 30 inch monitor 2560x1600 on display port using the integrated HD4000 graphics with i7-3770 @ 3.40ghz (stock) and working flawlessly so far. It's a relief to not be using so much electricity for a graphics card that just sits idle most of the time.

I'm not an overclocker and find Intel boards to be good performers and a reliable choice. This one now has an i7-3770 and an Intel 180GB SSD and it's the fastest PC I've ever used.

I hadn't bought an Intel motherboard for a while, and it made me realize what I hate about so many of the Taiwanese boards. Here's what you get with an Intel board:1. Documentation with clear illustrations in plain English2. Clear silkscreen labeling on the motherboard3. No frills, stock, straightforward BIOS with no 'tweaks'4. A pleasant to use, solid product.I paired this with an i5-3570k processor. No overclocking with the H77 chipset, but this allowed me to use the onboard HD 4000 video, which has been really nice.So far, the board has been a pleasure to use. Intel's drivers were easy to find and install after installing Windows, and even BIOS flashes were painless and easy. Overall, a solid product, and I'd definitely recommend an Intel motherboard for a first-time PC builder.
