Bought this Motherboard for gaming and its great, but after 1 day using it the problem started to show up. Basicly this Motherboard (DX79**) have a BIOS problem with Intel i7 3820, he shuts down after 5 seconds on start-up and you have to try a lot of times until it really start-up. The solution that Intel provides isnt good, they sugest to get a Intel i7 from the 39** series and update the BIOS to the latest version so it should solve the problem but its kinda hard to find someone to lend you a processor from that cost xD After trying a lot of times to update my BIOS with the i7 3820 it worked! (dont ask me how cause the BIOS problem wont let you restart the system LOL!). After the problem is solved you can use it normaly and I 100% recommend this Motherboard, just be carefull with the BIOS version that is on the Motherboard and what Processor youre buying :)

I Built my pc for gaming, and it just works great. This Motherboard fix perfect, it's easy to install and use. I got this for a custom build solely for data transfer. I must say, this thing blew my mind. I combined this with the lowest end i7 you can get for socket 2011 (i7-3820) and when the whole thing was set up (SSD on SATA 3, 16 GB DDR3-1333) I tested it with a 4 gb transfer, which it completed in seconds. The pipeline this board allows it way beyond anything I've worked on before. Not to mention all the cool features this brings to the table, or the goodies you get in the box with the board.Anyways, it shipped, I got it, hooked it up, and fired it up. I don't know about anyone else's experience, but I haven't flashed the bios to get this thing to work. I do know that every batch has a few bad apples, and I guess I didn't get one.As for the brand, let's see if I ever go cheapy off-name brands again. Intel has impressed me well beyond expectations.
