GA-A75-UD4H is based on the AMD A75 chipset, supporting a new generation socket FM1 of 32nm AMD A-series APUs with DirectX11 graphics integrated. The AMD A75 series platform showcases AMD Dual Graphics technology, allowing users to further boost 3D graphics performance by adding an additional discrete AMD Radeon HD 6000 series graphics card to the system.

Agreeing with the first reviewer for this MoBo, the software is unrefined and not intuitive. I also experienced several issues with the BIOS once powered on and first posted. Once in the BIOS, making the appropriate selections was not difficult for myself (above average tech level). Updating the BIOS from Gigabyte's website made an improvement.Once you get over that hurdle, combined with an AMD A8-3850 APU, 16 GB of G.Skill Ripjaw X 1866 DDR3 RAM, and an ASUS HD 6670 video card (Hybrid CrossfireX Dual Graphics); no problems for anyone building a decent $500-$1000 moderate-performance build. Great for a HTPC (my implementation). You will lose the ability to use one PCI-E slot (#2) this way (graphics card heat-sink/fan blocks it), however, there are still 2 more PCI-E slots, and 2 PCI slots for expansion. The five 6.0 Gb/s SATA connectors are in a tight configuration to connect the cables once installed most ATX cases, with only one easy to connect. The other four are stacked tightly together taking patient work to connect when the MoBo is installed. No issues dropping the RAM in place - make sure it clicks in securely. The Dolby Home Theater HD Audio works as advertised (optical S/PDIF out sounds the best). Very impressed with the on-board audio and find no need to install a discrete sound card. Gigabyte labels everything well on the MoBo, so connections are simple without the use of the instructions. Great packaging, installs easily, and seems very durable overall. Everything functions as advertised.Don't expect miracles - this is a very capable motherboard for the new AMD F1 socket (be careful installing the APU...lots of tiny pins). The four-star rating is because it works as expected, but the BIOS/software quirks waste time. For an AMD supporting product, this is one of the best yet. Being a usual Intel fan, it was difficult to to steer away from my comfort zone. However, the cost-savings to acceptable performance index was the factor that influenced my purchase. This product line is for you, budget-builders!The Windows Experience Index is 6.7 out of 7.9 for this build (Processor 7.3, Memory 7.6, Graphics and Gaming Graphics 6.7). I pulled my good hard drives out and put WD Caviar Blue 6.0 Gb/s drives in for a cool and quiet HTPC, unfortunately reducing the overall index to 5.9 (just the hard drives). That is right, the hard drives will hold you back...Bottom-line: Great Motherboard for the value-conscious builder/replacer. The average computer user (HD video/streaming media/occasional gamer/office software/email-internet user) will be very impressed.

OK i am going to say this.The System works perfectly when you first start it off.I had no problems before installing my make up with was a A8-3870K and then the 120GB SSD from Corsair then the HIS Radeon HD 6670.Remember put the goo on the center of the processor before putting the fan on.Do not smear it around the edges.I installed my High end graphics card the HIS 6870 ICEQ and the graphics card works Excellently.The graphics are at 7.3 of 7.9.This varies based on your monitor and ram.I am now getting very great performance an in order to get dual graphics remember this. Install the graphics card but to get dual graphics plug the HDMI connection into the Motherboard an not the graphics card.I did not know this an complained about it.This works perfectly!I had though i had problems before but i did not in fact.The problem was the directions of how to do the instillation is what make me make a bad post.Little to not information can affect my ratings.I hope in the future this does not occur.It works great i know what i am doing now.I rate this a 9 of 10 using this motherboard.

Many quirks with this board. You can't get into bios using a usb keyboard. Plug in an old school PS/2 into that port and then pressing delete will get you in. Another option is to download their "touchbios" software from their site that will let you adjust settings while in windows. You will need to get into bios if using 1866mhz memory as it will default to 1600(although it states 1866 is supported and default). Change the timings in bios. Couldn't get gigabytes easytune6 to work on windows 7 64. Not even the newer version from their site. You will need to flash the bios as this board is only 2 and latest version is 7. Had to install the drivers twice as the first time showed an error.Used this board with an amd a8-3870k. Different programs showing it maxing out at 2700mhz. Can't get it to its stock 3000mhz or able to overclock it. The only way is to disable amd cool and quiet in bios. It will then show the default speed and allow you to overclock it. But then the temperature soars. You will have to set the bios to make the cpu fan stay on constant.Onboard sata ports are at a weird angle. Could hardly get them in because the case's harddrive bays were right up against it. The audio out is a little hissy.
