This board is Fair

I've been using this board for the past two years and I've had no problems; however, now I'm trying to upgrade and ran into two issues. One, the board uses DDR2. Supply and demand make 8 Gigs of ram (2x4) approximately $108.00, or at least that's what I paid for mine. I will give credit where credit is due, I'm currently having no issues running Windows 7 x64 with Visual Studio, SQL Server Developer, and about 12 tabs of Internet explorer. I was also wanting to upgrade from my Intel E5300 Dual processor to the Q9450 Quad processor but when I made the switch, DG41TY started beeping like a smoke alarm. Even if I can get this to work, the new processor has a 1333 mhz front end bus speed while the board will only support DDR2 with a bus speed of 677 or 800 mhz.I'm trying to make the best of what I have but if your wanting to max out ram at 8 gig there are other boards available for $10.00 or $20.00 more that take DDR3 and 8 gig (2x4) sticks of DDR3 will only run you about $30.00 to $40.00. Nice little board

Nice little systemboard new in the box with enough features to accommodate the extra processor that i had - good price and quickly shipped - works fine with windows7 and it's power management features.

Replaced a Gigabyte board and didn't even have to rebuild the OS.

Of course the OS was Linux (Ubuntu 12.10).If it had been windoz it would have bluescreened for sure.But this is a nice little board and one of the few left that supports the Quad CPUs (non-i-series).
