MSI has produced a rather fine motherboard in this product. The BIOS menus look nice and are easy to understand. MSI includes an above average amount of help information with each setting helping to make since of the many options. The OC Genie works to provide an automatic and safe Overclock with all the options a seasoned overclocker would need to achieve substantial performance gains.The Software utilities that ship with the motherboard are mostly useful with exception of a couple rather useless ones. There is one that even allows you to view and change settings from your apple or android mobile device. I can't remember the last time I was out and about and just really felt like I needed to edit some BIOS settings, but it's kinda cool and someone may find it useful.The Thunderbolt port is one of the main reasons I purchased this MoBo, and it did not disappoint. I've connected it to my external storage array and the transfer speeds are stellar.Anyone looking for a solid performing, well constructed MoBo, and especially if your thinking about thunderbolt connectivity, you're not going to be disappointed with this item.

This motherboard is easy to configure and supports huge amounts of memory. I have used it 3 months and my computer flies compared to my last system build. I would recommend this motherboard to anyone with one highlight...Be sure to have a case that allows connection of the USB3 ports for front connection. This motherboard has a socket that can be used to add another two connections to your backplane, or plug in a cable that comes with many cases to hook front USB3 female sockets into the motherboard supported high-speed hub.I did not have a case such as this when I first bought the motherboard. I discovered 3 months later that there is a missing/broken pin in the socket on the motherboard. MSI advises customers return the motherboard to the seller, while Amazon will not take it back after 30 days. This runaround makes it difficult to get a warranty replacement, which I am still working to secure. Examine the motherboard carefully before assembly to ensure everything is in order.Bottom Line: I still give this motherboard FOUR STARS and look forward to posting an update once I exchange it for one that does not have a bad USB3 header."Safe weather and smooth seas to those in search for the right product - keep a wary eye open as you navigate the seas of good and bad products.
