This is a great motherboard and has all the settings and ports you need for a mid-range computer. Plenty of power saving features and top of the line components. On top of that it has a one click setting to unlock the extra cores on the Phenom x2 (the x2 is a quad-core with two cores turned off). Being a huge nerd I took a shot with the Phenom X2 and got lucky, one click setting for a true quad core which passed stress testing flawlessly. Highly recommend this motherboard. For more info on unlcoking the X2 search for "unlock phenom x2" online.

Board has been problematic since i got it started. Every component in my rig has been replaced except the board and still the unit gives random reboots, the BSOD and wont power up at times. Tried three brands of memory which i had to buy local here in trinidad and tobago caribbean, two video cards, new power supply, new hard drives, etc.but to no avail. random blue screen after blue screen after blue screens much all the time. Tried various hard drives as i said, i also purchased ram and cpu from amazon as well as every thing needed to build my computer the ram and cpu are also defective will not say more about that here. so any way last thing the imfamous loose NB and SB chips as well not just loose but so loose it can fall out loose. AMAZON i will be returning this board along with cpu and ram today for a full refund. 31st May 2011.

Good board for the price. The only issue I had with the board was the memory. Make sure you find out the specs for the memory voltage on the board you plan on getting. I ran ddr3 10666 (1333) @ 1.7 volts. The board will support it, I ran into freezing on my board. I switched to 1.5 volts and that made a huge difference. Other then that no other real issues.
