One per package not 17.

The description clearly states it contains 17 pieces however when mine arrived it contained only one and it had bent pins. The label on the package also stated it contains 17 pcs. I contacted Amazon and they immediately sent me a replacement. Just as before the second package was labled as containing 17 pcs but only contained one and once again the pins were badly bent. It appears this batch is mislabeled or mispackaged plus the pins on both items were badly bent.Update: 1/18/13 Uxcell refunded my money AND sent the correct number of pieces directly to me. Thanks

It's Okay? After the pins are straightened to insert in the holes.

Plain IC sockets shipped loose. Before use each pin on the socket must be straightened... Some pins break in the processThey came in carriers for this purpose... I've used thousands of them and Never in this condition.I wouldn't buy again and it's not worth my time to get them replaced with good ones.

These are great! they function as you would expect. Great for a micro controller board where you want to swap out the actual controller itself.
