What I mean is it can take a beating and works great. This board is great for first time OverClockers (OC) to enthusiast/professional OCers. First I will talk about some of the features, this portion will be ripped from the Asus's website seeing as Amazon doesn't have it posted. The really impressive list consists of just about everything you could want or need. Combined with the OC Key and that new dual-band mini PCI Express 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi/Bluetooth 4.0 card, ThunderBolt, 3-4 way SLI/Crossfire with 5x PCIe 3.0/2.0, and the rest is listed below and on [...]:ROG OC Key- OSD TweakIt- OSD MonitorROG Connect :- RC Diagram- RC Remote- RC Poster- GPU TweakItExtreme Engine Digi+ II :- 8 -phase CPU power design + 4 -phase iGPU power design- 2 -phase Memory power designROG Extreme OC kit :- Subzero Sense- VGA Hotwire- Slow Mode- LN2 Mode- PCIe x16 Lane Switch- EZ PlugProbeItUEFI BIOS features :- ROG BIOS Print- GPU.DIMM PostiROGExtreme TweakerLoadline CalibrationUSB BIOS FlashbackOverclocking Protection :- ASUS C.P.R.(CPU Parameter Recall)ASUS TurboV EVOSo enough copy & paste; also going to keep this review simple and not go into super details about manual OCing (I will say it is super easy and there is a great forum at rog.asus.com that will help with manual OCing). Let me tell you why this board is great if you haven't already visited other review sites and seen all the other great features. This board can be used by anyone; Asus has made it so simple to OC. You simply just click a CPU speed you like in the BIOS and done. Don't know how to get to the BIOS, no problem. You can OC through the Asus AI Suite II right on your desktop. What more could you want.Now the BIOS, which are simple, yet sophisticated. It is nicely layered and easy to use. Want it even easier, click EZ BIOS and you have a simple and functional BIOS screen. When Asus designed this board they designed it in a way that will appeal to everyone. They don't want to keep anyone out. I know I said I wasn't going to talk about manual OCing but I just wanted to add that the OC Key is a great item to have if you are really going for a strong benchmark.As noted above, I am running SLI and it worked first try without any hiccups. There is even software that is provided called Virtu MVP which takes the IGPU and works with the GPU for increased power. This actually helped FPS go up another 5-10 BUT there is a list of supported games and if it isn't supported it can ruin the game experience by actually causing hiccups (short freezes nonstop). This is nothing to do with the board, this is just a FYI.There really isn't much more to say except this motherboard is great and works perfect for anyone that wants something powerful and will last for a long time. Bought this board for a replacement of my semi-functional Z77 FTW and no regrets!Everything literally possible included on it works right out of the box!No memory compatibility problems! My Mushkin 996990 sticks were designed for P67 and still work awesome and overclock stable as high as 2400MHz in 2-stick setup or 2200MHz in 4-stick config, zero trouble! it was a big caveat of Z77 FTW, now all problems gone!I can use Integrated graphics of my 3770K whenever I need to (e.g. for playing around with Lucid MVP), wasn't the case with Z77 FTW ...BIOS looks like it came from 22nd century and has multitude of options (still learning it) and possibilities are nearly infinite! it takes a while to get used to it, but it's well worth it and runs very nicely and easily recovers from faulty settings without a need to press the CMOS reset button (haven't used it even once yet!).I also enjoy the OC Key, WiFi/Bluetooth module and load of apps that actually run great and do what they were designed for!A+, Great job ASUS! :)))

More features than anyone would ever need, high quality components! If your into overkill products this is the motherboard for you, easily overclocked my i7 3770K to 4.5 GHz on first attempt while using iGPU on air cooling. Got it, plugged it in and worked like it was supposed to, zero issues with this motherboard after two months.If you want the best Z77 motherboard this one has it all, this is the king of Z77! All memory dimm's work without issue, doesn't even really mater which you use for module #1 and #2, red or black it doesn't matter. BIOS is where this board really shines, not much effort to overclock processor.Pay attention to where the SATA III 6Gbps ports are on board for Intel's controller, I made the mistake of instead using the third part SATA III 6Gbps ports. If using an SSD disable S.M.A.R.T. and make sure SATA is configured for AHCI! Lots of useful software included like the ROG Desktop themes, ROG CPU-Z.
