Product Description
The ECS black series A890GXM-A2 is based on the AMD 890GX chipset with support for the latest AM3 and AM3+ processors. The A890GXM-A2 has integrated video with the ATI Radeon HD 4290 graphics IGP with Direct X 10.1 support. Also featuring ECS 4most Display, with connection for HDMI, DVI, D-Sub and DisplayPort, for a more flexible, complete and convenient plug in options. Furthermore, there is support for AMD CrossFire and Hybrid Crossfire technology for the ultimate in multi-GPU performance. It utilizes All solid capacitors to provide the best solution for stability and longevity. Also, the memory slots and CPU socket are equipped with ECS 15μ gold contact to offer a longer lifespan, better reliability and excellent component contact throughout its use. The RealTek ALC892 provides 7.1CH high definition audio with content protection for Blu-ray and Dual RealTek 8111DL Gigabit LAN ports with Teaming. In addition the SB850 features 5x SATA 6G ports and 1x eSATA, with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 configurations. A890GXM-A2 has Onboard USB3.0 for supporting SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology. All of this combines to make the A890GXM-A2 an excellent choice for any enthusiast.

I was looking for a motherboard for use with the FX8120 processor with onboard graphics... hence the 890GX chip set covers my needs. Unfortunately I received two of these motherboards with no working video and returned them both... I gave up on this ECS motherboard and picked up and MSI 890GXM-G65 motherboard. I sent a support request to ECS and never heard from them. Amazon was great, I wish this board was great.
