This review is not about this specific product but about BIOSTAR warranty coverage. Two years ago I bought themotherboard A760GM2+ in a retail store. The board failed some weeks ago but when I contacted Biostar they toldme the motherboard was not covered by the warranty because they sold this motherboard to the retailer more than3 years ago (the board has a 3 year warranty). They told me to contact the retailer to get covered by thewarranty. The retailer (Microcenter) can only give a refund but since I bought the motherboard as a combo, thenthe refund would be 1 cent. So, I am stuck with a worthless under warranty motherboard (sounds dumb, right?).This is the first time I have problems of warranty coverage with one company in the US. Asus, Archos, Seagate,Western Digital, Hitachi, MSI, Logitech, Franklin Electronics, Okidata, etc, all of them covered their products.Be aware of Biostar before buying their products. Since I can't do much to solve my problem I think this reviewwill help many other buyers and also expose this kind of companies.

Pros:For the price this a very good board.I bought this to build a system for my son who is only into e-mail and surfing the web.It is a low power board which includes the CPU.Also has 2 USB 3 ports and 3 SATA 6 connectors.((2x USB 3.0 port (2 on rear I/Os)6x USB 2.0 port (2 on rear I/Os and 4 via internal headers))Has a VGA and HDMI connector on the rear panel.I ordered the board, memory, drive, DVD writer and case from Amazon. Some items arrived a day late for the two date shipping.My grandson and I had this system assembled in about an hour. Installed Umbutu to check it out.Worked OK. Re-Formatted the drive and installed Windows 8.No problems, everything worked. Two weeks later everything still works.DVD videos play very well.Cons:CPU runs a little hot but within the mfg specifications.I would not recommend it for gaming or video editing as the processor is too slow.
