There aren't many Z77 ITX boards, and there are better ones for Windows (all are relatively close), but this is the best for a Hackintosh (check TonyMacX86's guide). I use it in that manner as well as with Windows 8 (works well without any drivers), and it runs fine in my MI-008 Tower Black P4 Chassis with 250W Itx Psu+sata Power Supply although the Intel CPU fan on the Intel Core i3-3225 Dual-Core Processor 3.3 GHz 3 MB Cache LGA 1155 - BX80637i33225 touches the PSU. That aside (and that's more of a case/default cooler issue) the layout is OK given it's ITX footprint. There are plenty of SATA ports (2x SATA III + 2 SATA II), USB 2/3, headers for more USB 2/3, 2x gigabit ethernet, and other features. The whole setup is rather quiet, ultra reliable, and really hasn't caused any issues in hours of XBMC movies/TV.While I really like this board and it's issue free, do note that it is a bit bare bones in some regards. You get the two WiFi antennae, the metal(ish) backplate, and that's about it. No Sata cables, USB3 plates for PCI slots, CMOS reset buttons, diagnostic codes, etc... That being said, all I would have used would have been a couple short SATA III cables, and you can get them here cheap.Pros:Issue free performanceDecent layout (there is no ideal ITX layout)Hackintosh friendly (works great in Windows 8 too)Cons:Basic board / bundle (not a big deal for most people)BIOS / UEFI is kinda awkwardly laid out

Bought this board to pair up with a i3-3225. Didn't need the overclockng ability but wanted to buy a board that could just in case I decide to upgrade. I paired this with some Corsair Vengenance DDR 3 2133 memory and was able to get it at 2000 without much fuss. I am sure I could probably get to 2133 if I went through and manually entered everything in XMP. Overall the board has been rock solid. This isn't my first build or first gigabyte board. I have to say they are very reliable and easy to work with. If you are putting together a small cost effective hackintosh, this is the board for you. There isn't much more you can ask from a mini-itx board. Amazon shipped it fast as always.

Wow, what a wonderful board. This fit into my Bitfenix Prodigy case just perfect. The bios was up to date, so no tinkering at that front. This worked great for my build, and all that didn't work was the wireless (for "the build") That's ok, cause that's the only thing that shouldn't work. If you need wireless, there's a PCIe slot for your cheap wireless card. I use ethernet with my home network, so no need to waste the PCIe slot on a wireless card.
