I have owned great Biostar motherboards for several years, and this one is no exception. Don't be chased off by the lower quality of Biostar's budget boards, because these higher-end boards are apparently what they focus their time on! Excellent, intuitive BIOS settings, a high range of compatibility with parts I have tested, and a sleek red-and-black look on black silicon that is so much more appealing than the basic greens and pastel colors that several motherboards have. This is a high-quality board that will work for just about any build. I'm using it with a Phenom II X4 955BE, 2x4GB Corsair DDR3-1333 RAM, and an XFX Radeon HD 6790, all inside a Raidmax Tornado case, and the board works wonderfully. NOTE: THIS BOARD HAS NO ONBOARD VIDEO, LIKE MANY HIGH-PERFORMANCE MOTHERBOARDS. But, honestly, if no onboard video is a problem for you, go pick up a Radeon HD 5450 for $30 on Newegg and get into the modern era.

I went with this board for my 6 core 1090T 125W build, and have been pleased with its performance. It has 6 SATA 3 connections for the latest hard drives like the OCZ vertex III drive that I used for my boot drive, and the WD 1tb 6gb/sec black for additional space. I popped in 16gb of DDR3 ram, and all was recognized from the first boot. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars, was that it only had one other sys fan connection other than the CPU fan.

i like it, it have done the work now for almost 2 years. ive had some issues but they are not that bad.first, when it was about a 10 months old, computer froze, and then it didnt want to turn on agian. i got scared and thought that my graphic card got burned or smthg. i remove ram and computer turned on pc and it worked without ram, so i noticed that mobo had a bad ram port. so i just didnt use the bad port.but maybe that just happened to me only, cuz i havent heard about this problem and it was a lot of time after using it 48 hours per day. i game too much hehehe.here is my build:this mobo10gb ram (one 2gb dell ram and two 4gbs PNY optima pc3 10666 ddr3)xfx ati radeon hd6770 1gb ddr5AMD CPU HDZ955FBGMBOX Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz AM3 125W...Seagate Barracuda 7200 500 GB SATA 6.0 Gb-s 16 MB
