I purchased this board for a basic Hackintosh build. Overall, it has worked well for me. However, please note, for rev 1.1 of this board (which is the one that I received from Amazon) the on-board ethernet is not currently supported. However, my understanding is that an update is being worked on.

Got this board for my first Hackintosh. Only one setting in the BIOS needed changing off the bat, and the board is exceptionally stable. Can't beat Amazon's shipping speed, either. Board easily fits an EVGA GTX670FTW along with a TP-link Wireless-N card immediately beside it. Gigabit ethernet works great, and the BIOS setting for any XMP-enabled RAM should work fine as well. Works great with 16 gigs of Corsair Vengeance.OF NOTE: there are only three system fan headers on this board, and the sysfan2 header runs at 5 volts. Any normal 12v fan will work, but it will only run ~500 RPM. It is really meant for a 4-pin power modulating fan. I'd recommend buying a couple molex-3pin adapters for other case fans.The board does not have a speaker built into it - so if you need the tones to troubleshoot while you're building or booting, you'll want to buy one separately. Additionally, it does not come with a CMOS reset jumper. Simple enough to just disconnect power, take the CMOS battery out, and short the terminals of the CMOS jumper with a screwdriver or anything else that conducts.

Bottom line: It works.I upgraded from a core2 system to a new Ivy Bridge Core i5 3570K with this motherboard. System components include two 4GB DDR3 sticks, three SATA hard drves (one of which is a SSD), and one SSD CD Drive. That's all I need because everything else is built into the motherboard (or CPU). The most difficult part about my upgrade is plugging in all the connectors for my case's front panel, a pain because many of them are broken out into single pins. Thankfully Gigabyte does a great job with the manual identifying everything so the hard part is getting my fingers into place. Everything worked the first time!My only complaint has nothing to do with this motherboard: the heatsink mounts changed ever so slightly from LGA 775's. It seems completely unnecessary, they're only about 1/8" different spacing, just enough that I can't use my old heatsink/fan.I guess I could complain about the graphical BIOS, it's a bit clunky and I'd prefer a text based interface over this one's GUI... but how often do you have to edit BIOS settings? No big deal.
