The concept is great. The implementation is lacking. Fortunately, Evga does have excellent Customer Support/Tech Support.When I received this motherboard, I contracted a pro for installation and assembly. This board was DOA; the Tri-sli would not configure, because of component problems. All of my components are currently top of the line; I'd hoped this motherboard would be too.Evga should tighten up on Quality Assurance in its MOBO manufacturing. All of my experiences with Customer Care/Tech Support/RMA Support have been great. Too bad I have to know that their RMA support is fine.

I had had purchased this motherboard a year before the Core iX processors came out, I paired it with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.8Ghz processor along with 8Gb of PC 12800 1600Mhz DDR3. Thanks to the award winning bios is easily able to overclock my processor to 3.6Ghz. I also was able to throw in a pair of nVidia GTX460 OC 1GB in SLI. This bad boy is still, 5 years later, playing games like Oblivion, Farcry 3, Tomb Raider, The Witcher 2, Hitman Absolution, Crysis 3 and many other top end games on the highest settings. It has a life time warranty, but looks like i might never need it because its sill going strong. Back in the day, if you had the money ($300), I would of definitely recommended this motherboard. Technology is always changing, but its always good to see that a great product can perform and last this long. I definitely got my moneys worth and then some more.

I bought this Mobo to replace my 780i, over all it's great, and very easy to configure. I like the fact that if you want to overclock you can stop the Vdroop via the Bios settings vs. having to pencil mod the board like on the 780i.I don't know what the temps are stock because I took the heat pipes off and put Viperjohn water blocks on, but it runs rock solid to date. 100% solid state capacitors with 8 phase power is the shizzle, more stability for a clean Overclock.I have a Q9650 @ 4.3 with Mushkin ram and I'm very happy with it.Seems a little buggy with Tri Sli but normal Sli (2) is just fine.
