I have had MSI boards before and had good luck with them. I expected no different and have not been disappointed. I basically gutted my system and replaced it with the new stuff; MSI Z77A-GD55 Intel i5-3570K 16GB of Kingston RAM (2 x 8GB) SAMSUNG 840 Pro 256GB boot drive Cool Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU CoolerThis is a darn peppy configuration, coming from my Core 2 Duo E8400 processor. My Windows Experience numbers are CPU 7.6, Memory, 7.6, Video (both flavors) 7.8 (this is my old MSI 560Ti Twin Frozr video card), and Primary Hard Drive 7.9. This system goes from button press to login in about 20 seconds. Microsoft Word SNAPS open and some of my slower applications are now much more reponsive. I have run 4 Windows 2008 R2 server VMs (via VirtualBox) at the same time and the system is still responsive, as if it is idling otherwise. I clicked the O/C Genie button and it automatically overclocked my processor to 4.2GHz (from 3.4GHz) and ran stable, upping my Windows Experience points to 7.7 for the processor. I returned it to stock just because I am running a generic powersupply which did not have the necessary EPS power plug for the motherboard. In any case, I am VERY happy with this purchase and highly recommend this motherboard.

So after a month of using this Mobo, it's giving me nothing but troubles. I installed it with an Intel i5-3570k (stock only, no OC), 16GB of Corsair Dominator GT 2133mhz, and a Diamond brand AMD HD5870. After several bios updates and "Live Update" updates, it keeps crashing.Not so much "crashing" as completely freezing. I mean everything. USB turns off, mouse and keyboard don't respond. Screen freezes (still showing whatever was there). Audio cuts off.I'm going to have to RMA this board, because it is now 41 days since I bought it. This is a HUGE disappointment.UPDATE: I decided to not RMA the board originally, since some of the issues pointed to a possibly bad Graphics Card. So I installed a new MSI GTX 660ti OC, a new 240GB Kingston Hyper X SSD and unfortunately Windows 8 Pro. (By the way, never upgrade to Windows 8, just my opinion).The problems stated previously became much much worse over the couple of weeks. So I finally broke down and RMA'd the board. I will update again when I get it back.

I installed this along with an i7-3770K about a week ago, and so far it's been running very solid. I haven't overclocked it yet (still not sure if I need to), but I feel that this board was a great value. I haven't run a true stress test on it yet, but I have processed some 1GB images in photoshop that took the CPU up to around 80% with no problems.I'm not too much into gaming anymore, now I use my computer more for photo and video editing. My setup right now is this board, the CPU I mentioned above, a Corsair H80 watercooler and 32GB of Gskill RAM. Compared to my old system (i5 overclocked to 3.7 GHz with 8GB RAM), this is a huge improvement!The number of USB 3.0 ports is limited compared to the higher-priced models, but I purchased a pci-e expansion card and doubled my 3.0 ports and still saved a few bucks as compared to the next-higher model.I did quite a bit of research before choosing this mobo and I didn't see anything to dissuade me from getting this model. As many reviewers stated, this motherboard is truly a great value.
