After getting two bad asus mobo's in a row, I decided I wanted to try the opposite, so I bought this. It's kind of weird looking, and the software package on the included cd is rather obnoxious, with all sorts of weird desktop gizmos.The printed text on the motherboard is a random smattering of buzz words with no relation to the layout of the board at all. Also seeing Johnathon Wendle's face staring (longingly?) at me whenever I turn on the machine is just a little on the creepy side.But the thing works fine so far (stuffed full of hardware), which is more than I can say for Asus. I really like that it has 2 usb3.0 headers, but 8 dimm slots would have been nice.update: there might be something bad going on with the dimm slots(they might be destroying ram). As such I can no longer recommend this board. I'll post an update after I test it, but it'll take a little while as I have to wait for new ram to come in, then test it on another system, then on this board again, and then back on the other system(It's not the PSU, as I've tried a new one with the exact same results).New update(1/9/2013): It wasn't killing ram. I somehow managed to get 5 bad ram kits in a row, 2 from Newegg (mushkin black line), and 3 from Fry's (corsair dominator, and patriot). When I returned the 3rd bad kit to fry's I saw the saleswoman mark it as "new" and "unopened".After a bios update, they even removed Johnathon Wendle's face from the boot screen (Sorry Jon, you promote good stuff, but it was a little creepy).Anyway the lessons I learned were:1) Never buy ram from Fry's2) Always test your ram with memtest86+ (the windows one missed many errors)
