I installed this motherboard as a replacement to my gateway lx-6810-01's motherboard going out. The only thing is this motherboard has two less sata ports for expansion of additional hardrives and DVD drives. Also this board does not have Firewire built in. Personally I never use that anyway, so I did not care. Everything else functions flawlessly. I installed the Coolermaster n520 cpu cooler and two 4 gb 133mhz sticks of ram made by kingston hyperx. I overclocked from 2.33ghz to 2.96 ghz and I am running the memory at the rated 1333mhz. I had to increase the voltage trhough the onboard msi utilityI am running cpu-z to track temps of the cpu as well and so far nothing over 48 degrees celcius. I also installed windows pro 8 as an upgrade . I have an hd 6670 installed on this pc and it runs games very well. Great budget gaming pc.

Worked as advertised, included SATA cables, but no screws or stand offs, which could be a problem for some. Instructions clear, almost excessive.

I bought one of these boards new from Amazon. It shipped quickly. I plugged everything in and booted it up. There was power to my drives, but there was just had a black screen. I tried troubleshooting, but I was very surprised to find that there is literally no support for this board. Not in the manual, not on the website. There are not even PC speaker debug codes.I ordered an older, used ASRock board and it works great (G31M-S R2.0) so I know it was a problem with the motherboard. System: Intel E8400 E0, Nvidia 450GTS, 2x2GB DDR2-800.I gave 2 stars because the return process was easy and painless. Just printed a free return UPS label and dropped the box off at UPS box. Got a full refund.
