Product Description
Seeeduino is Arduino compatible board. Its design is based on Diecimila scheme, 100% compatible to its existing program, shield and IDEs. On the hardware part, remarkable changes are taken to improve the flexibility and user experience. The board now uses the ATmega328P chip. Select "Arduino Duemilanove w/ATmega328" in the Arduino IDE "board" menu. In Arduino IDE 0017, the name of the board is "Arduino Duemilanove or nano w/ATmega328".

Ok, I'm not sure this Arduino clone in put in the toy section.This is my first Arduino and I must say that the board is very well built.I had no problems in setting up the card and in less than 10 minutes I had uploaded a blinking LED program into the unit.I love the switch selects for powering with either 3.3v or 5v.This will make it easier to use when I run 3.3volt sensors.Someone mentioned that there was no manual but just go to Seeeduino website and you can get your info from there.All in all a great buy!Kurt...

I like the fact that 3.3V or 5V logic levels are switch-selectable. The original Arduino is 5V, but many modern chips you might want to interface to are 3.3V only (not 5V tolerant) and this capability saves a logic level translator. Another bonus feature is the external reset enable/disable. In the original Arduino, reset comes from the USB-serial connection which is handy for one-step reprogramming, but your device will reset whenever the serial port is reset from the PC side- which happens whenever you open another Arduino IDE window, reboot the PC, etc. On the Seeeduino you can flip the reset switch to local-only and your code will keep running, until you push the on-board reset.And, obviously it is a bit less expensive than the original as well.Interesting that Amazon has categorized this as a "toy". It is that, but can be a quite useful tool as well.

I've been using this circuit for 2 days now. I am really impressed by the Quality and Materials of this Board. I was able to test my Relay driver circuit and was up and running in l0 mins. Highly Recommended.Pros:High Quality BoardSeparate Pins given for SDA, SCL for I2C Bus.You can solder Realtime clock circuit like DS1307 onboard (Design it accordingly though).Redundant Analog and Digital pins available, which are really helpful in testingCan be used along with Lithium-Polymer charger, Battery directly input via DC JackROHS compliantSlim Profile, Can fit in a small box.Cons:No Cons as of Now.
