This is a very functional little board. I have it running Windows Server 2012 as a domain controller and file server, among other tasks, for my home/labbing environment. It doesn't consume much power and the lack of a need for case fans keeps it quiet.However, it's important to note a few important things that technical people would really need to know:1 - There are no 64-bit graphics drivers. This made using modern Windows Server OS's (2012, 2008R2) less practical. They can still RUN the OS just fine, but know that you will be very limited in graphic quality and resolution if you use a 64-bit operating system. I am using this in a headless configuration and do everything via RDP, so this is not much of a concern. There has not been, is not now, nor (probably) will ever be, 64-bit graphics drivers for this chipset.2 - There is no Virtualization support. No VT-d or VT-x with this chip at all. I was, for a while, considering trying to use this as my primary computer for web browisng, running R2 or 2012 in a 64-bit VM and use 32-bit Windows 7 with GPU Passthrough on Xen as a desktop...till I found out that is not impossible. It's kind of a shame, since this computer is running 24/7 and I have it right next to my (very power-consuming) primary computer which has mostly been a $1500 web browser lately.3 - 4GB of RAM really doesn't seem to go nearly as far as it used to. At least not in Windows World. Granted, with a whole bunch of web servers I run on it for tasks around the house, it idles at around 50% memory, the limit seems kind of...limiting. Guess I've been spoiled by the declining prices in RAM we've been seeing the past few years and forgot what it's like to see % available memory so low.Getting over these two things was tough. I was upset when I found them out, but I've been able to get by with it.

I wanted a low wattage, pc I could have on all the time. This mb fit the bill. It is way more powerful than any other Atom processor mb I have had in the past.
