This is a fine small motherboard if you still use Core2Duo type Socket 775 processors in your environments. Takes only two max pieces of DDR2 RAM. Usual high reliable Intel construction. For other needs, also consider the "TX" variant if you've used up your stock of DDR2; it takes DDR3 instead, and has similar features. Intel has great support on their website for updated drivers, BIOS revisions, and technical information. This category of board is built for primarily office environments. For that, it is bulletproof. I would not recommend it for hobby users who like overclocking and playing with massive quantities of RAM.

An excellent board. It is made for Vista which gives it a date, but Vista is an excellent Ops. In addition, a lot of us have a lot of software that works on Vista, and not on the newer operating systems. All that this board seems to be is perfect for the next couple of years for me. And it is very fast compared to other boards being sold for 7.. some of which I have. It is good, stable, and fairly fast.The seller advertised a new board.. it is with the appropriate gizmos of cables and inserts with a CD that provides the drivers. I would point out that if you up grade the drivers that came with it, you may be moving the board toward MS 7, and those requirements. As it stands, it will be a great home for Vista.

I build computers on the side for a living and have done so for about 15 years. I bought this board on a whim thinking if its Intel it must be good. I was so wrong. A few months after the build the customer complained of wierd things happening. First the USB ports went out so I bought a PCI card to replace the bad on board ports. Then the LAN port went bad, then the audio went bad and finally the on board video. Piece by piece this board would slowly go bad. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this board. I sent back the motherboard to Intel and in two weeks I got a new one under warranty. Thanks goodness for that.
